Discover Aamir's Approach

I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, offering confidential and personalised therapy services in Clapham, Central London and the City.  I also offer therapy online if more convenient. Specialising in anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, anger, trauma, relationships, life stage challenges, sexuality issues, and neurodiversity.

I work with psychodynamic, attachment, trauma informed, humanistic, CBT and existential ideas and techniques.  I approach each client on the basis of their needs, to help them overcome their difficulties, learn more about themselves and what has brought them to this point in life as well as how they might build a more fulfilled and rewarding life going forward.

I have worked with a wide variety of diverse clients on issues ranging from identity, cultural challenges, polyamory, kink, body image and issues around race, gender, sexuality and masculinity.

I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.  I am also a Non-Executive Director and Vice Chair of one of UK’s largest mental health NHS Trusts and a Trustee with a large children’s mental health charity.  I work in SEND schools and within BAME and sexual health charities.  Previously I was an entrepreneur and business leader as well as a foster carer and a parent support peer worker.

My goal is to provide a caring environment for individuals seeking mental health support. I work with adults, young people and adolescents.
